Superhard Materials Branch and the Institute of Abrasive Technology participated in the 12th International Advanced Abrasive Technology Conference

The delegation took photos with some overseas Chinese scholars (the second left stood as the chairman of the conference, academician Zhang Liangchi). The China Machine Tool Industry Association Superhard Materials Branch (hereinafter referred to as "Super Association") and the China Mechanical Engineering Society Production Engineering Branch National Abrasive Technology The committee co-organized to participate in the 12th International Advanced Abrasive Technology Conference, which was organized by the University of Queensland, the University of Sydney, the University of New South Wales, the University of Wollongong and the Australian-Chinese Science and Technology Association. Vice President Xu Xipeng of Huaqiao University of China as the organizing committee One of the chairpersons participated in the organization of the conference, which was held on September 27-30, 2009 in the Gold Coast of Australia, with a total of 120 participants. The group consists of 26 people from 11 universities and 4 related companies engaged in abrasive research and abrasive processing research. The conference plan arranged 102 papers to present the lectures. The staff of the group published a total of 14 papers and 13 conference presentations. Li Zhihong preached the paper by the Secretary-General of the Association for the development of the "Development of Industrial Diamond industry in China". The paper highlighted the major achievements of China's diamond industry and introduced China's diamond production in 2007. It has reached 80% of the world's total output, and CBN production has reached 60% of the world's total output in 2007; the quality of these two types of super-hard abrasives has reached or is close to the world's advanced level. Due to the strong development of China's super-hard materials industry, many national counterparts want to know more about the industry, so the propaganda of the article has attracted the attention of the participants, and the audience is obviously more than the special research papers. It has achieved the purpose of promoting the international influence of our industry and promoting our super hard materials. The editors of the magazines at home and abroad participated in the meeting and took advantage of the international conference. The directors of Super League Zhu Feng and Li Zhihong respectively acted as directors and presidents of the Editorial Committee of Diamond and Abrasives Engineering, and participated in the meeting. Some editorial committees have extensively exchanged on the development of the magazine, and hired overseas Chinese who have international influence as editors, Dr. Li Xingsheng, chief scientist of the Institute of Prospecting Research, Australian Federal Academy of Sciences, Professor of Mechanical and Mining College, University of Queensland, Australia, Dr. Huang Han, Director of the Processing Laboratory, issued a letter of appointment and negotiated with Dr. Zhou Libo, Professor of the Faculty of Engineering, Ibaraki University, Japan, as the editorial board of the magazine (the letter of appointment is not sent). In the future, more overseas Chinese colleagues will be invited to be the editors of this magazine, with a view to further improving the magazine's level and international influence.    Dr. Li Xingsheng took a photo with the director and president after being hired    Dr. Huang Han took a photo with the director and president after being hired    Dr. Zhou Libo and the director    Dr. Zhou Libo and the president took photos of the international event. They not only met more scientists from domestic universities, but also met with the chairman of the conference, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the professor of the University of New South Wales, Zhang Liangchi, and the Taiwan University and Taiwan Normal University. Scientists engaged in abrasive processing research at universities, Taiwan’s Beijian University of Technology, Taiwan Huafan University, Taiwan’s Qinyi University of Science and Technology, Japan’s Sophia University and other countries and regions have exchanged information and enhanced mutual understanding. Exploring the possibility of cooperation, everyone expressed their intention to strengthen cooperation in the future. Extensive international exchanges and cooperation will promote the academic research and technological development of the abrasives industry in China, and make greater contributions to catching up with the world's advanced level as soon as possible!
