(2) The pump foundation should be visually inspected for any defects such as cracks, honeycombing, voids, or exposed reinforcement. Special attention should be given to high-temperature magnetic pumps, which require extra care during installation.
(3) Based on civil engineering drawings and the pump’s technical documentation, the pump base’s position, direction, height, and dimensions must be rechecked. The allowable deviations should follow the specifications in Table 2-35.
