SPIC's "Heavy Gas Turbine" independent research and development made breakthrough progress

The reporter recently learned from the State Power Investment Group that the national science and technology major project "heavy gas turbine" led by the State Power Investment Corporation has recently achieved breakthrough progress in its independent research and development.

According to reports, the main design work of the conceptual design stage of the F-class 300MW heavy-duty gas turbine has been completed. Trial production and testing of key components for compressors, combustion chambers and turbines are underway, including design development, material trial production and other aspects.

Among them, the compressor has completed the processing and assembly of imported multi-level test parts, and the test will start soon; the combustion chamber has completed the manufacture of nozzles and flame tubes, and the low-pressure performance test of the nozzle is underway; the first part of the first-stage static and moving blade castings has been identified by the turbine To realize the independent design and localization of materials, smelting and manufacturing of large-scale high-temperature turbine blades for heavy-duty gas turbines.

The heavy-duty gas turbine combines new technologies, new materials, and new processes. With super-efficient, clean, and flexible characteristics, it is known as the "pearl in the crown" of the equipment manufacturing industry.

China has comprehensively organized and implemented major national science and technology projects on “aeroengines and gas turbines”. Among them, the independent development of "gas turbine" is undertaken by the State Power Investment Corporation in conjunction with Harbin Electric Group Corporation, Dongfang Electric Group Corporation, and Shanghai Electric Group Corporation. The goal is to build heavy-duty gas turbine products with independent intellectual property rights, and establish a complete industrial chain and independent innovation system. .

SPIC stated that it will adhere to the principle of being self-centered and self-controllable, fully draw on the advanced experience of international manufacturers, and accelerate the realization of the R & D goal of heavy-duty gas turbine technology with completely independent intellectual property rights.
