The vulcanization system should be slightly stronger. 3. **Operation Method:** - Set the temperature and time according to the vulcanization system of the rubber. - Clean the repaired area, especially the joint, using a rubber ink thinner. - Cut the repair rubber based on the size of the gap, ensuring it is neither too much nor too little. - Place the cut rubber into the gap, making sure it does not protrude above the wire’s circumferential surface. - Wrap the area with high-temperature PP tape and place it into a slightly smaller tubular mold cavity. Secure the upper and lower molds to apply even pressure. Note that the cavity diameter should be 0.1–0.2 mm smaller than the wire diameter. - Once the vulcanization time is complete, remove the product. If there is excess rubber, carefully trim it with a sharp blade and clean with a diluent. 4. **Verification Method:** Inject an appropriate amount of air into the filled cable and submerge it in water to check for leaks.
