How to use air conditioning fan

Horizontal Placement

For optimal performance, the air conditioner fan should be placed horizontally. Avoid tilting it during use. Before turning it on, always check that the power supply matches the specifications listed on the fan’s nameplate. Regularly add water to ensure continuous operation and cooling efficiency.

After using a new unit or one that has been idle for a long time, make sure to fill it with clean water first. You can monitor the water level using the marked indicator on the tank. Always unplug the device before adding water to avoid damaging internal electrical components. If the water reaches near the "highest" mark, do not overfill it. Once filled, close the lid securely. When using the fan for cooling, keep an eye on the water level. If it drops to the "lowest" mark, refill it immediately, otherwise the cooling function may be compromised.

Frozen Ice Crystals

Most air-conditioning fans come with two ice crystals. To enhance performance, store one in your refrigerator overnight. The next day, place it in the water tank for better cooling results. This method helps maintain a lower temperature for longer periods.

Proper Humidification

To enjoy the humidifying feature, start by filling the water tank with clean water. Once the fan is running, after about 1–3 minutes, the outlet air temperature will drop, creating a more comfortable and refreshing environment. For even better cooling, you can add cold or ice water if available. Adding a few drops of essential oil or fragrance to the water can create a pleasant, cool breeze. In hot weather, this feature can make a big difference in comfort. Press the cooling and humidifying button to activate the function—the indicator light will turn on. If you want to deactivate it, press the same button again, and the light will turn off.

Swinging Air Supply

Most air-conditioning fans offer a swinging air supply function. To enable it, simply press the “wind direction” button once. The “swinging wind” indicator will light up, allowing the fan to automatically oscillate left and right at a 120-degree angle. If you prefer a fixed airflow, press the button again to switch to “directional wind.” Additionally, you can adjust the vertical air direction by manually moving the long air guide. This allows you to direct the airflow upwards or downwards, depending on your preference.

Maintenance Tips

If you plan to store the fan for an extended period, empty the water tank and let it dry completely at room temperature. Make sure all parts, especially the filter, are fully dry before placing it in a plastic bag for storage. This helps prevent mold and ensures the fan remains in good condition for future use.
