How to use lifting straps and hooks

The lifting belt is mainly used for lifting and handling objects. It is often used in conjunction with hooks. The lifting belts can be used in single and multiple ways. They are more portable than steel wire ropes, and they can also protect heavy objects from damage. We specifically look at how the lifting straps and hooks work together.

When two lifting belts are in operation, two lifting belts shall be directly hooked into the double hooks, and the two lifting belts shall be hung in the symmetrical position of the double hooks; when the four lifting belts are used, each two lifting belts are directly hooked into the double hooks. Note that the two lifting belts in the hook cannot overlap and squeeze each other, and the four lifting belts should be symmetrical to the force center of the hook.

It should be noted that when the lifting belt is in use, the lifting belt is directly hooked into the center of the loading force of the hook and cannot be hung on the hook hook tip. In addition, when the lifting belt is used, the flat belt is caused by the curved part of the hook. The force cannot be evenly distributed in the width direction and is affected by the inner diameter of the hook. When the hook diameter is too small, it is not fully combined with the eye of the strap and should be connected with the correct connector.
