Beijing warehouse fire oxygen mask help fire

A fire broke out a few days ago in a warehouse located in Xiaowuji Village, Shibalidian, Chaoyang District, Beijing. The site was just about 300 meters away from the Shuangxin Experimental Primary School, raising concerns over the potential impact on nearby residents. Upon receiving the alarm, the local police mobilized 13 fire units and 54 fire engines to rush to the scene. Firefighters, equipped with professional oxygen masks and cylinders, quickly arrived and began their operation. After intense efforts, the fire was finally brought under control by 11 p.m. that night. The blaze reportedly covered an area of around 500 square meters. During the rescue operation, firefighters managed to save 15 individuals, but tragically, 11 of them lost their lives. Four others were injured and are currently receiving treatment in the hospital. According to the official microblog of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, the two property owners who had rented out the warehouse have been detained, and the exact cause of the fire is still under investigation. In recent years, countless firefighters have sacrificed their lives while protecting people’s safety and property. These brave individuals face immense risks, often stepping into danger without hesitation.
