If the autumn shoots are too late, they will delay their maturity. Later, they will involve tree nutrients, slow down the speed of fruit expansion, and also reduce flower bud differentiation. The accumulated temperature time, especially for trees with positive or high yields and large amount of fruit, has a greater impact.

Root damage

The root is the main organ for citrus to absorb water. When the citrus roots are subjected to water stress due to soil drought, the outer skin of the root is damaged, and most of the roots are destroyed and dissolved. The tip and root are closely connected, the root system is damaged, and the tipping is bound to be difficult.

At the autumn stage of citrus, the key period of fruit enlargement, new shoots and root growth is needed. The roots are damaged by drought, the ability to absorb fertilizer is sharply reduced, and the nutrient absorption can not keep up with consumption. At this time, the fruit has basically stabilized. Base fertilizer slow

Citrus does not put the autumn shoots

Citrus is not self-protecting when it is not exposed to high temperatures and droughts. Imagine that if the new shoots are extracted, the transpiration will undoubtedly increase, and the tree body will be more affected by water stress. Therefore, it is a major premise to promote drought prevention.

Do a good job in drought relief: measures include irrigation, tree cover, grass cultivation, water spray, etc., but irrigation is most effective and direct. Irrigation should be carried out every morning and evening. Remember not to wait for the severe drought in the orangery and then flood the water to avoid causing a lot of cracking, filling and filling each time.

Enhance the nutrition of the tree: Spray the sea elf bio-stimulant (foliar type) 800~1000 times on the canopy to enhance photosynthesis, supplement the tree nutrients, and strengthen the fruit; on the other hand, the sea elves contain Humic acid and seaweed extract can promote the increase of proline content in plant leaves, promote the water-holding capacity of cells, increase the activity of plant cell protective enzymes, and reduce the permeability of cell membrane to improve the drought resistance of citrus.

Maintenance root system: 300 times solution of sea snail bio-stimulant (root type) to repair damaged roots, improve fertilizer efficiency and absorption capacity, and facilitate new shoots. It is recommended to use ditching and dredging. After the drought, the surface of the soil is crusted. It is difficult for water poured on the ground to penetrate into the soil below 5 cm, and it is easy to evaporate. The utilization rate of fertilizer and water is very low.
