In 2008, the company's biodiesel production equipment was successfully put into operation; in 2009, the company successfully cultivated the genetically modified Jatropha (Sycamore seed) "DGY1" excellent variety, and realized the production of 1 ton of biodiesel from 2 mu of Sycamore seed trees; In 2010, the company completed the use of waste oil, rubber seed oil, and paulownia seed oil as raw materials to produce biodiesel superior to BD100 (GB/T20828-2007) and B5 (GB/T25199-2010) standards; The company cooperated with Kunming Bus Group to shut down the use of biodiesel B10 on 47 diesel buses in two bus lines in Kunming. In 2012, the company assisted the Yunnan provincial government in the implementation of the guidance on the work of Yunnan province's waste oil biodiesel. In 2013, the company completed the formulation of local standards for biodiesel in Yunnan Province with Kunming University of Science and Technology and Kunming Quality Inspection Institute...

Industry: All-round development is ready

The reporter learned that although China's biodiesel research and development started late, some scientific research achievements have reached the international advanced level. In addition, China's national biodiesel standard “Biodiesel Blended Fuel (B5) (GB/T 25199-2015)” (revised in the second edition) and “Biodiesel for diesel fuel blending (BD100)” (GB/T 20828) -2015), its rigor is also comparable to the development of biodiesel in Europe and the United States.

Recommendation: Establish a closed application demonstration area

"At present, China's relevant laws and industrial policies on the development of biomass energy do not mention the problem of closure, supervision and price limit of waste oil, and this neglected serious problem not only causes the underground trade of the waste oil to return to the table, It also led to the dilemma of biodiesel enterprises falling into raw materials shortage.” Lu Bo told reporters that if biodiesel is widely applied in the whole country, there is still no unified coordination mechanism and mechanism. (B5), at the same time ensure that diesel vehicles, especially heavy-duty diesel vehicles, can only be filled with B5 biodiesel (National Five). Progress: Pilot work research started

Yan Jianmin revealed that the National Standards Committee will issue a mandatory standard for biodiesel B5 in a grand format. The biodiesel BD100 is an appendix to the mandatory standard, and its content is also mandatory. With the mandatory biodiesel, the government should promote the application of “compulsory blending” as soon as possible, prohibiting the sale of petrochemical diesel without biodiesel. The common method for promoting biodiesel abroad is the government's “forced addition”, with the addition ratio ranging from 2% to 20%, and showing an increasing trend year by year.

The reporter learned that the National Energy Administration is actively organizing and formulating policy opinions on further promoting the development of the biodiesel industry. If the progress is smooth, it is expected to land soon.

On May 9 this year, the National Energy Administration held a special seminar on the establishment of a closed sales demonstration zone for biodiesel industry in Yunnan. The industry is eagerly awaiting the implementation of the biodiesel pilot work at the national level as soon as possible, especially the pilot project of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.
